Re-installing Super pro 9.4

Ok its been a few months since ive tried to do this. Here is what i am doing. I had copied super pro 9.4 to 2 CD's along with the patch, mission update, super pro UI fix, and davides utility suite v1.1. I copied from CD's to desktop as i heard somwhere you shouldnt install from a flash or Cd drive directly and im going to install in C:\Jane's combat simulations\USAF. I do not have USAF installed on my system as you only need the terrain files which i have on my USAF CD's. Drumroll heres the big question, could i possibly run into adverse effects if i copy/paste directly from my USAF cds to my resource folder? I wonder if thats been the problem all along?? Or should i install USAF and then copy the files? Anyone got some ideas?

Do i apply the install path fix before or after i hit the load button or both?

Well unfortunately re-installing did not help, you can see in the screen shot what i was talking about in my other post. Soon the screen fills up with artifacts (transparent squares) the hud starts getting all blurry and everything goes screwy. Im really bummed as i miss this game much
