Hillstrider is a friend of mine for quite sometime now and we have been trying to reinstall the SP9.4 game and get it running on his computer. I downloaded some of the SP9.4 files and now NORTON IS SEEINGTHES FILES AS HAVING A VIRUS. Can these be checked out to make sure they have not been tampered with or is this just a thing that Norton does. UI Fix and Tools are two that I have tried and also Norton removed the files from my computer. So any knowlegeable people speak up and let us know what is going on here.

Also what is the difference in the old UI fix of 31.9mb compared to the New UI Fix of 26.6mb...did it get altered along the way from way back??? I have the old one installed on my computer and it runs fine.

If anyone can help Hillstrider out in UK please do so. He emails and calls me here in the states but some local help may get him up and running too.
Thanks guys and help out.

Hello Hillstrider, I have downloaded the UI Fix for SP (26,6MB) and started the file. It worked correctly. What I got is a file "UI Fix for Super Pro 9.4.txt" and a folder "Resource". Then I copied the Resource folder to my SP installation and that's it. May be you have not noticed the Resource folder, because you extracted the files directly to the correct place. The virus warning I think is a problem of your anti virus programm.

Thanks for that, Cowar. All I managed to get hold of was the 'Text' element. I shall try again.

Stap me vitals! After several installs and un-installs, I'm finally up and running. The error seemed to lie in my selecting my own Radeon driver in the 'Config' window instead of the Primary Video Driver. Time to crack the knuckles and get going. Good to be back.

Ah, the woes of hitting the wrong connection in the Config box. Drats it sure makes one want to pull the hair out by the roots doesn't it. I guess in our rush to do things we should read the install instructions somewhat better. hehehehe

Glad to see you up and running tho and hope you have success with it all.
