GKAB is the very last place to get some help with USAF, as you know. I think Gulf Knight, Tommy and me are the last three members here who did active contributions in addons. The incompatibility with operating systems like Vista and Windows 7 is the main reason for the loss of many members, who worked in the past on USAF. If you have hundreds or thousands of members who can work on addons it is easy to get a new aircraft each week or month. If you start working on creating a new aircraft you will see what a huge amount of work it is to create a simple model only. To create a model with transparent cockpit, moving parts like rudder, flaps ailerons and not to forget retractable gears, needs weeks or months to finish it in a good quality. Then a new cockpit is needed, also some weeks of work must be calculated for it. Then you have to do some skins, you have to include the new plane into the game, with a new flight model, which has to be as close as possible to the real flight behaviour and at the same time it must be handable by the computer as AI aircraft. You have to create the weaponary available for the new plane and the loadout screen for each version or skin. Then you have to integrate the new plane into the User Environment to get it selectable with the game. Not to forget uncountable hours of tests to adjust the behaviour of the plane in the air and on the ground. It would be great to have some members who are willing to invest a lot of freetime to create new models. So if you do the model, I know you wish to see large russian aircrafts, and they have a good quality, I will do the rest. But I'm sure you will see very soon, it is not realistic to create only one new aircraft per month, not with the personell situation we have here.
